The Jersey Netball Association's Dominion Winter League came to an end this week as the final rearranged matches were played.
Congratulations to all those who have played this season, there has been some exciting netball and results. Thank you also to all the umpires who have given up their time. Particular congratulations to the winner's of each Division as follows: Division One – Convent A with Convent B as Runner’s Up Division Two – Convent E with St Clement B as Runner’s Up Division Three – St Clement D with St Lawrence E as Runner’s Up Those mentioned above for Divisions Two and Three are promoted the Division above. Sadly Accies B and St Lawrence C are relegated from Division One, St Saviour A and St John A from Division Two to Division Three Good luck to the winner’s of each division face their Guernsey equivalent at the Annual Upton’s competition. With Guernsey yet to confirm the winner’s of their divisions Covent A, Convent E and St Clement D will start preparations to face their rivals in matches played in Guernsey this year on Sunday 24th April. Fixtures will be confirmed as soon as possible
After a brilliant night of netball at the Youth Tournament Section Two the results are as follows: 1st: Convent Bluebelles 2nd: St Clement Cookies 3rd: Accies All Stars 4th: Convent Robins 5th: Accies Astros 6th: St Lawrence Squirrels 7th: Accies Saints 8th: St Clement Magpies 9th: Accies Acorns Well done to everyone who took part especially the Jersey U11 Red and White squads in action too as tournament guests.
